Welcome to my art page
The art you see here were originally on my Biography page, but I decided to make a separate page to aid download time, and to write a little about the pictures on here.
My art doesn’t really have a “history” in as much as date drawn/painted etc. They have been done over my entire life, but needless to say any done before my adult period have been lost in the passage of time. After all, what teenager do you know worries about keeping hold of things from his childhood, with all those hormones racing around art was the last thing on my mind. So the art you see here are all done since reaching my adult years.
Most of my art never sees the light of day once finished, and tends to end up gathering dust in boxes stored in the garage. Which is probably why I have lost so much during house moving etc.
My drawing/painting etc are all self taught and I sometimes regret not going to art college or some such thing, but then wonder if my work would have been influenced by art school. Now I tend to think Art College may be fine if intending to use it as a way of making a living. If on the other hand it is just a way of passing time then self taught works fine, at least for me anyway.
As you can see by the things I draw or paint I have a love of the “unreachable”, That hidden side of us all, that part of us we all wish we could be. The Amazonian woman, or the Masterful male. For those of you out there without perfect bodies, myself included, rest assured you are not alone, and the “perfect” bodies here are only representations of  how I “see” peoples inner desires. The people we want to be, not the bodies we wish to have, although both would be nice ! Some of my art is my humble tribute to the fantasy artists who have a far better imagination than mine
The above drawings are done in pencil on A4 paper
Again using A4 the two in the centre are  black ink and the two outer drawings are a mixture of both black ink and pencil
My first attempts at glass etching, not really sure if this is turning into success or failure, although my picture taking leaves a lot to be desired ! and doesnt really convey the true affects. Cant wait for someone to invent a glass erasure. These have been etched with a dremel on ordinary window glass.
The two either side of this text are an example of an oil painting I did, and my attempt at reproducing it in a glass etching, again my picture taking isnt up to much, but you get the idea
If you have any comments on my art, or indeed anything else on my web site, good or bad, then please visit my guestbook and let me know.

Above left is a pencil drawing, and the two center pictures are using chalk(pastel). "Real" animals are not usualy my thing, but the horse and rider seem to have turned out ok.Far right is a dragonhead, using pencil.
