My Cool Games!
My Cool Games
I just thought I'd create a basic page to share some of my BASIC games.
Battleship
My first game to use the linkport, and one of my favorite creations.
How to Play-
Pretty self explanitory, but I wrote a readme anyway.
Scoring-
If you sink their ships, you win! :)

Snowboarding
A simple, yet sort of fun snowboarding game. You control a snowboarder (t) and have to guide him down the mountain. Avoid trees, rocks, and skiers (T,R,S) and try to hit jumps (J).
How to Play-
Use the arrow keys to move side to side, 2nd or Enter to Pause.
Scoring-
Each row earns you a point, while hitting a jump earns ten. Also, after you hit a jump, you are "in the air" for two rows. Jumping over a tree, rock, or skier will earn you twenty points.

If you have Omnicalc installed, you can use the fontset to improve the graphics:

Boggle
This program combines the dome and timer from the original Boggle game into a version that's quite a bit quieter than the rattling letters.
It actually is programmed with all sixteen cubes, so the only difference is all the letters are facing the same way.
How to Play-
Once you press enter, the letters will begin appearing, and then the timer will start. You have three minutes to write down as many words as you can. Full instructions are in the readme file in the download.
Scoring-
There is no internal scoring, (I've seen people trying to use the arrow keys) as I couldn't figure out a way to cram a dictionary into it. You will still need to manually keep track of score.
Screenshots-
Not very graphical, but easy to read:

If you found an error, (the timer in Boggle is kind of touchy) have an idea for a game, or would just like to comment, please post in the guestbook. Thanks! Sign Guestbook View Guestbook
