JJ is a bid of an oddity. She has always been more "cuddly" than Maia. She was the one who got Maia interested in dolls. She is much more feminine than Maia tends to be; however, she is also much more aggressive.
JJ's point of pride (sort of) is that she got booted out of the beginning walkers class at church after two weeks in it. Seems she was taking toys from other kids and upsetting them. They had to move into class with kids 6 months older than her so she couldn't take their stuff from them. They were big enough to know to fight her off.
JJ, as a youngster, which would be less than the 4 years old she is now, used to punch, kick, and push the dog. It was her favorite past time. Woe to the dog who walked between her and the television screen!
She is the feisty one. I have stories galore of uninhibited stubbornness!
The good news: There have been no problems, yet, at school. I was worried that she'd give the teachers a run for their money, but Pre-K has been pretty smooth thus far. She seems to be calming down a bit. She loves school and is beginning to see that behavior affects how people see you.
A quote from last week: "Everybody [at school] likes E****, except when he punches people."
JJ doesn't like to be read to very much (Maia loves it); however, she loves to be in control and do the reading, even though she can't read yet. We let her, though; Charis likes it.
JJ likes camping, though not as much as Maia does. She loves playing dress-up and dolls. She's in gymnastics and likes that, but hasn't tried soccer or any other "real" sport yet. She's a bundle of fire, but she's my little bundle.
Yet another great kid sprung from my loins!
She loves Yongnam, her new brother, so far.
