"Dreams Of Paradise"
In the night as we sleep,
our minds drift off to the land of beauty
and peace. A land where we can be together
and do what ever we please.
I must have drifted off before you tonight
I have been waiting for you now it seems forever!
But alas you are here! My heart skips a beat
and my stomach flutters with excitement
I run to your outstretched arms....
I've missed you Sweetheart!
You simply squeeze me close to your chest
kissing me with that deep breathtaking kiss
Taking my hand you lead me down a grassy path
My excitement builds as the grass turns to ferns
and beautiful trees, all covered in draping mosses.
I have to stop and marvel at the beauty
in another of Gods natural wonders!
You tug at me, telling me to hurry,
we haven't much time!
As the pebbles turn to sand beneath our feet,
we reach the top of a pure white sand dune.
Letting go of my hand,you run towards the water.
I quickly run after you, reaching the water
just seconds later...ooooo this water is warm...
not cold like the pacific ocean!
We go out a way and you tell me to turn around...
turning I see the most beautiful vision
before my very eyes!
A waterfall is off in the distance,
falling from a very lush tropical mountain.
The water is such a shade of blue...
I've never seen before. I realise that
tonight you have taken me to another Paradise!
And in my dreams, is where I want to stay.
