Surah Falaq - Recited by Abu Bakr ash-Shaatri

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ

مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ

وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ

وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ



Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem

Qul a'udhu bi rabbil Falaq

Min sharri maa khalaq

Wa min sharrin ghaasiqin itdha waqab

wa min sharrin naf-faa-thaati fil 'uqad

wa min sharri haasidin itdha hasad




In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn,

From the mischief of created things;

From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;

From the mischief of those who blow on knots;

And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
