Episode 1
Holly is the first Roadie to enter the Bullring in Chihauhua, Mexico. She's followed by Abe, Gladys, Brian, Joshua and finally Sarah. Piggy (RR6) pulls up in a white VW convertible and takes their cash and credit cards, then a matador arrives and tells the group that they are going to "face their fears". He tells them that they must get the keys to the Woodie from the neck of the beast. Everyone looks really nervous as they are shown the infimary, suit up, and are instructed in the art of bullfighting. As they wait for the bulls, Gladys prays "please let toro be little" while Brian crosses himself.
Gladys laments "I don't wanna die in Mexico"! But, as the bulls rage in their pens and the Roadies quake in their boots, a pack of 50 "wild" chihuahuas are released into the ring. As our heroes chase these vicious ankle biters, Joshua is bitten by a particularly nasty little fellow. Undeterred, Brian states, "I'm definitely not walking out of here without that key". The chase continues until the key is found on Menudo, who will be the group's mascot for this trip. When the Roadies check out the Woodie and all their new gear, they're totally psyched to find the 1st Clue: "This mission is a race against time: in Copper Canyon there lives an ancient people, The Raramuri, but this mission isn't about time, it's about crossing the line." Menudo and the gang settle into their home on wheels and start getting to know each other. They seem to hit it off, right from the start. Holly says, "the bond inside the winnie is very strong right now. We've clicked already and it's 8 hours into the trip!"
The Roadies arrive at Copper Canyon amid torrential rain. They're greeted by Al, who tells them at dinner that the mission is a cross country race against the Raramuri, spiritual "footrunners" who frequently sprint up to 100 miles a day! They also learn that they are the 1st "Gringo's" allowed to participate in this 20 mile event. Also, we hear, Holly is the only experienced runner in the group.
The gang is staying in a cave, Raramuri-style. Later, by the campfire, Brian predicts that they're gonna be the "Naked Road Rules Posse". That night, Gladys dreams of victory. At breakfast, Al explains the catch: they must carry a ball with them, no hands! "This is adding a whole new issue" according to Sarah. She adds, "It's not gonna be quite as easy as I thought". But as they check out their new running shoes, Abe says, "Holly's ready to whip some ass". Confident in her 10 mile a day, high altitude training he continues, "She's ready to rock and roll"! Finally, we meet Skip, the organizer of the event and Al's father, who explains that the Roadies will be handicapped and allowed to relay in teams to make it more competitive.
We learn that Brian has already bared his lower half in the Woodie. His "snake" is more like a "doodle bug", someone says!!

Episode 2
Picking up where the last episode ended, the Roadies are preparing for the big race. Skip explains the Raramuri's ideals and mysticism to the group, who are "knocked out" by their "intangible" value system. They learn that they are going to be running against the oldest members of the tribe, but these people get stronger as they get older! They learn that they will earn the respect of the Raramuri by doing their best and that losing the ball will disqualify them. But, as they practice kicking it, they realize they're in serious trouble! "Holly runs 10 miles every day, so she's pretty good to go," Brian says, but the rest are nervous about the distance. Sarah is "pumped, I'm ready to do as many as we can as a group. I wanna make everybody proud of the Gringos!" Holly, Brian and Sarah run Lap 1 without a hitch, however, Gladys says "they're blowing us away" and Holly notes "there's no way we're gonna beat them at their own race!" For Lap 2, Holly is joined by Gladys and Joshua, who says "The landscape we're running here is absolutely incredible, but at the same time, it's not very conducive for kicking a little wooden ball around in." And with that, they lose their ball in the rocks!
After searching diligently, Joshua finds their ball and they finish the lap. Holly keeps going with Abe and Brian for Lap 3, and does Lap 4 with Gladys and Joshua. Even though they have finished the 4 laps they need to win their prize and are exhausted, they decide to finish the race as a group. Joshua sums it beautifully: "It's very cool that we all are doing the last lap together. I think we've realized this from Day 1, that we're a group and we're only as strong as our weakest link. If we can keep that kind of group devotion together, then this is gonna be a very fun and easygoing trip!" Having exceeded the expectations of everyone and earning the respect of the Raramuri, they are given Taramari balls, because "it takes balls to run the Taramari!" Later, Al gives the gang the key to their room at Copper Canyon Lodge and invites them to Margarita Hour. Gladys gets hammered and predicts that Holly and Abe will end up "humping," but Holly has zero interest in younger men and tells Abe "there will be no humping this trip"! Abe is persistent though, and vows "the harder the chase, the funner the catch"!

Episode 3
On the road from Copper Canyon to Durango, Gladys tells the group about her family's penchant for witchcraft! This intrigues Abe, who realizes that they have the most in common within the group. Gladys continues and tells them about her abortion, which she says was "the worst experience I've ever gone through in my life." They get a clue from the parking attendant at their motel to meet Fernando at noon the next day. Meanwhile, Abe learns that his father is very ill and he frantically tries to reach someone at home to find out about his condition. It turns out that Gladys and Abe have been hanging out quite a bit and sleeping together, in the same bed at least! The Roadies arrive at The Buffalo Bar in Villa de Oeste at high noon and see a clue in the street. It says "ACTION", and as they read it aloud, an old west scene begins to unfold around them, complete with a bank robbery, lots of shooting and general mayhem!
The cast finds Fernando and learns that the mission is to make a 6 minute, black and white, silent movie with Paul Rodriguez. They will be using cards for dialogue and must pay the expenses out of their own money, which makes the gang very nervous. They make Paul R. audition for his role as a "weeping widow" and he cracks up the whole gang by using Menudo as his baby! He also gives them some technical tips on filmmaking and they get started with Joshua as the director and Brian as the cameraman. After they finish filming, Abe gets bad news. His father is getting worse and is now in Intensive Care
After the next clue informs the cast that they are entering their film in a festival, they worry that it won't be good enough. Leaving Villa de Oeste, Gladys bangs up the Woodie on the gate. When Abe takes over the wheel, he drives like a maniac while using the phone and scares the group to death! They arrive in Zacatecas and as the rest of the gang parties, Abe and Gladys get into it about their respective driving skills. Later, they escalate into a full blowout and both Gladys and Holly are skeptical about Abe's motives and actions. But when Abe gets in touch with his family, he finally breaks down about his father's deteriorating condition and is comforted by both girls.

Episode 4
On the road again, Abe finds out his Dad is getting better and tells Holly what it was like growing up on welfare. Because he was so preoccupied by his father's illness and didn't do much during filming, Abe also designs some nice end credits. Holly feels she is beginning to understand him better and everything seems to be settling down. The Roadies still can't believe their movie is going to be shown at a film festival and think they're in big trouble.
Gladys is laid up with Montezuma's Revenge when they arrive in San Miguel de Allende, an atypical and artsy pueblo, according to Peter, who gives them credentials for the festival. They meet him the next morning to help promotethe festival and get new walkie talkies. While roaming around the town, Brian meets Sylvia who owns a furniture store. He takes some time off to hang out with her, but worries about cheating on his girlfriend back home. Later they all meet with Dmitri, who will be playing the soundtrack on a piano during the screening.
"A Fist Full of Pesos" debuts to laughter and applause on the big screen. Everyone is relieved and Sylvia throws the cast a party to celebrate. Later, feeling guilty about growing closer to Sylvia, Brian calls his girlfriend from the woodie. The next morning, Abe announces that he taped the drunken phone call and Brian is furious. Gladys, as usual, has plenty to say about Brian's infidelity, but he thinks she should mind her own business. Later, Holly and Sarah discuss Abe's latest violation of the group's trust and his defensiveness when confronted.
Disappointed in himself and consumed by guilt, Brian calls his girlfriend again and tells her everything. At dinner: Joshua, Holly, Gladys, Brian and Sarah discuss their growing lack of respect for Abe and possible reasons for his actions. After being advised by Joshua to apologize, Abe has breakfast with Brian. The two make up, but Brian says that without trust the group has nothing and that it will be awhile before he can trust Abe again.

Episode 5
The Roadies are totally fed up with Menudo's lack of housebreaking and are about to sell him to a crazy old lady at the trailer park. But Abe loves the little guy and refuses to part with him. Menudo seems to understand and is a lot friendlier with the rest of the group after his close call. They arrive at Rancho Trueba, outside of San Miguel de Allende and are told they must learn to bullfight and compete among themselves to become real matadors. There will be no Chihuahuas in the ring this time and they are all a little nervous as they begin their training. The girls seem to be the most adept at it and Josh is by far the worst, but he tries the hardest to improve: he really wants to fight the bull! After watching some videotaped bullring action, the cast realizes how dangerous this mission is and how serious bullfighting can be
The girls are bonding over their respective ex boyfriends, as Sarah says " all of us have 'em and they're all some gruesome stories." Back in training, the gang keeps trying hard and Josh has definitely improved. Holly feels sick, but to Brian's dismay she is picked, along with Josh, to represent Road Rules in the ring. The group have a giggle over their matador outfits and enter the bullring with trepidation. Gladys says "I just don't want to be in the ring right now!"
Josh does himself proud in the ring, but is hampered by the fear of teammates Sarah and Gladys. Holly also does a great job but has a better team with Abe and Brian, which clinches the win for them. Everyone is really proud of their accomplishment and Holly feels especially honored to have been picked as the best. Later, at a celebration in their honor, the gang gets their next clue. They will be going to Veracruz and are totally psyched to be heading to the beach!

Episode 6
In Veracruz, Holly says that "the whole Abe situation is slowly getting easier" and that the friendships they are forming should teach him a lot about women. Their next mission is a watercraft competition against the RR Australia Cast and the prize is tickets to the next MTV Video Awards! As the competition begins, RR7 beats RR6 in the first race, but the Aussie Cast takes the second event. Meanwhile, Suzie and Menudo are bonding and Abe wishes he could trade places with his little buddy! As things start to heat up between Abe and Suzie, Gladys doesn't like it at all: she worries that he'll take advantage of Suzie, but it seems more like Gladys is jealous of her.
Back at the beach, the final event is the "Pinata Bash" and the Australia Cast wins the competition and the MTV tickets! Abe is glad that they had won the tickets, he's glad RR6 won them because now Suzie will be in LA when he gets home. Later, both casts fool around in the hotel pool and then have dinner. After margaritas and a meal, Abe and Suzie go off together and talk about getting together in LA after the trip. Now Holly also feels betrayed by Abe's attraction to Suzie, while Gladys thinks it's wrong and that he's using her. She says "Abe pisses me off, he's trash!"
After spending the night together in the Woodie, Abe bids farewell to Suzie as she and the rest of the Aussie cast depart. Brian says they did everything but have sex and Abe wishes they had won the tix for LA! All the girls are a little miffed about Abe's flirtation with Suzie, but Gladys can't leave well enough alone and really goes off on him. Abe tells Gladys she's crazy and the situation goes from bad to worse as the argument escalates into a full blowout. Abe calls her a "psychotic bitch" and Gladys attacks him both physically and verbally, saying "call me a bitch again and I'll show you what a bitch can do!" Abe replies with "you're out of here or I'm out of here" and storms out.

Episode 7
At the hotel in Veracruz, Gladys has just punched Abe in the face for insulting her after she teased him about his one-night affair with Susie from Road Rules, Australia. Abe threatens Gladys that she'll have to leave the trip because she assaulted him. The rest of the group is stunned by the fight, and they wrestle with how to deal with the situation. Road Rules Producer Clay Newbill lowers the boom: because Gladys violated the conditions of the contract prohibiting physical violence, Gladys must pack her bags and be sent home. The news devastates Holly and Sarah, who blame Abe for taking Gladys away from them. Abe spends the rest of the day alone while the other Roadies bid Gladys a tearful good-bye.

Episode 8
It is the day after Gladys' departure, and Abe is still very much on the outs with the group, but the missions continue. The Roadies head out to sea with comedian Tom Arnold for a deep sea fishing contest: he will award prizes for the biggest fish and smallest fish. But the fish aren't biting today, and the calm water gives the cast plenty of time to reflect on Gladys and what her absence will mean to each of them. Brian finally catches a small grouper—the only catch of the day—and they head back to shore. At dinner Tom acts as the referee in a discussion about Abe's responsibility in the Gladys situation. It's pretty clear that Holly and Sarah still hold a lot of animosity towards Abe, and he's not exactly apologizing for anything. Realizing that the rest of the trip will be uncomfortable if she doesn't reconcile her feelings in this matter, Holly has a one-on-one talk with Abe. Does he finally understand the profound role he played in disrupting the group's balance? Will Holly ever admit that it wasn't entirely his fault? Only time will tell.

After a night of drinking, Abe confesses his regrets about how he dealt with Gladys and resolves to redeem himself by trying to get her back. Meanwhile, the show must go on, and the Road Rulers take to the stage at the Hard Rock Café in front of a thousand screaming fans. With Molotov backing them, the Roadies treat the crowd to their song, "Strangers in a Strange Land."
The next day, Abe finds out that his efforts were in vain: Gladys will not be rejoining them. The cast is disappointed, but they realize that they need to get past everything that happened in Veracruz and move on as a group.

Helen explains that the gang makes a living by recycling what the rest of Mexico City throws out, and each of the cast pairs up with a member of the group to collect materials. Episode 14
As their Latin America tour comes to the end, there is no time for slacking! Not only have the revengeful Renegades seized the gang's handsome reward, but they've also kidnapped their dog, Menudo. The note left behind claims that the dog is just the first to go, and the rest will go down soon. Poor Abe is taking all of this personally. First, he's accused of "hacking" and then his barking buddy is dognapped? He considers this an act of war! Just as the Road Rulers are about to give up, two mystery men named Hawk and Mike arrive to save the day. They are going to turn our Road Rulers into fearless mercenaries so they can recover their reward and Menudo.
Nervous but excited, the group is blindfolded, bringing back memories of how their journey began. They are then loaded into the back of a truck and transported to a remote jungle location. Removing their blindfolds, the Road Rulers silently trek through the snake filled jungle to an old thatched hut where they get a crash course in how to survive their final mission. It's very clear that this will not be some kiddie game of hide and seek! The group is then taught the basics that they will need to complete their mission before being shipped to the Isla de las Culebras…Snake Island! Hawk warns the gang that the Renegades have a code of honor that involves ambush and taking a piece of clothing. If a Renegade catches someone, they are considered captured and are out of the mission. Just one member of the group has to make it to the top, but it won't be easy. Within minutes of stepping on the island, a shrub-disguised Renegade ambushes Brian! With Menudo and Brian down, there are only 4 left. Deep in the dense jungle, Abe thinks he knows the right way to the landing site and decides to go off on his own despite the objections of Josh, Holly and Sarah. Abe marches off and in just a few steps… BAM! He is captured by a Renegade! Three are down, so Josh and the girls realize that it's all up to them.

Episode 15
When we last saw Josh, Holly, and Sarah at the top of Snake Island waiting for the helicopter, a Renegade was running towards them. Will they get caught and say "buh-bye" to everything they've worked for? What is the handsome reward? Where have the Renegades taken the captured Abe and Brian and the dognapped Menudo? Can this really be their last mission? It's time to find out in the exciting conclusion of Road Rules Latin America!!! As the Renegade makes a grab for Holly, she's worked too hard to give up now. She holds on to her red flag while Sarah banishes him with an "I see you!" Finally the chopper arrives and Josh, Sarah, and Holly jump on board as a band of Renegades make a final run for them. But it's too late -- our triumphant threesome is safe in the air and on the way to their handsome reward.
Once they land, they run to their captured comrades sitting next to a large camouflaged mound and free Abe, Brian, and little Menudo from their blindfolds and bindings. Wasting no time, the five pull away the tarp and reveal their reward: a shiny new Volkswagen Bug! Victory is sweet as the gang explores the car inside and out. They find a bottle of champagne and glasses and a final message telling them that they each get a new VW and directions to their final night in San Jose. They make a bittersweet toast to Gladys, wishing she could have been there to share in the moment.
The roadies arrive at the posh resort of Melia Cariari in San Jose and are shown to the presidential suite, which is outfitted with a sauna and Jacuzzi. Abe and Holly go for a swim and outdoor Jacuzzi while Josh prepares a five-man bubble bath in the suite's Jacuzzi. Josh gets naked and talks Sarah and Holly into jumping in. Safe under the suds, they remove their suits and are soon joined by Abe and Brian in the buff. Celebrating their first (and last) nude group soak, Josh does a dance with only a Road Rules shield covering his, uh, assets. All cleaned – and dressed -- up, it's time for their final dinner. They have the whole restaurant to themselves to enjoy their last night together and share memories of their trip. They wish they could get a hold of Gladys and remember some of their special memories of her on the road. They talk of their favorite missions and Abe and Holly look back on their relationship and realize that it really was never meant to be more than "just friends." Brian surprises everyone when he admits that he thought he would hook up with Holly at Copper Canyon -- and Holly agrees! But Brian has an even bigger surprise for the group… For the first time, and with only hours left before they leave, Brian tells them that the trip has left emotional scars. Everyone is stunned, confused, and blown away by his confession that he felt left out in many ways. Seeing that his admission has burst the dinner's celebratory bubble, Brian tries to put a positive spin on everything by explaining how much he's grown from being with the group and ends the moment asking everyone to hold hands.
All good things must come to an end… and so it does for our Latin American travelers at the airport. The tears, hugs, farewells, and promises to talk soon begin to flow when Holly is the first to depart. She leaves behind notes to her best buds Sarah and Josh, which they read in private. Abe and Menudo are next, and then Brian wings his way home. Finally, only Josh and Sarah are left to remember some of the great times they all shared… until they too must say "adios" and go their separate ways.
