PALMISTRY DATING SYSTEM

Now that you've located your life line, you can use it-
along with an invisible scale- to create and accurate system
of daing changes in your life.
A standard measuremnt is used, with each section indicating
a span of 10 years. While the proper method of it application
is fairly simple, in certain cases adjustments may have to be
made in the time scale.
Starting from the first wrist line, where the rough skin of
the wrist ends and the "fingerprint" ridge pattern begins on
the heel of the palm, is the beginning of the demarcation
line or time scale. It continues from the midpoint of the first
wrist line to the center of the deep crease at the base of
the middle finger, crossing the total length of the palm.
Measure this length with a ruler. Exactly at its halfway
mark is the 40th year of life. From this point on the time
scale mark half inch sections of the 50th, 60th, 70th years,
etc., moving towards the fingers. Likewise, mark half inch
sections from the 40th year back towardss the wrist line, for
the 30th, 20th, and 120th years. Each of these lines can be
further subdivided into one year periods.
Beginning below the base of the index finger, at the edge of
the hand where the life line begins, measure off half
inch increments along the life line towards the wrist. The
first half inch mark will be the 10th year mark, and these
decade marks can also be divided into single years.
If you wish to study the circumstances connected with the
birth of the subject, locate the first year of life. If it
starts as a neat well marked and clear line, then the birth
was normal, under healthy, natural circumstances. If there
are amrkings at the year of birth, such as a square, cross,
or circular design, then something negative occured at birth.
A square denotes some adnger which had been averted. A cross
represents a mark of danger or injury. An island or
circle points to some mystery connected to the time of birth.
Note: In the Oriental system of palm reaing, the female's
left hand and the male's right hand are studied with most
thoroughness, but the opposite hand is never neglected.
The most exacting and complete analysis should be based on
the comparative study of configurations of both hands, the
fingers, and the fingernails.
