VAMPIRICAL POETRY

Written by Louie

Forever's Kiss

Centuries ago we met,
On a night just so.
We walked along the river bank,
I could not let you go.
Standing in the moonlight
You gave me loves' forever kiss!

Centuries from that night
We make that vow of love.
Standing on a moonlit river bank,
Your blood fills my mouth with love.
I've returned the love you gave,
With your forever kiss!

The Damned

What are we?
The damned childer of Caine?
The grotesque lords of humanity
The pitiful wretches of an eternal hell?
We are vampires and that is more than enough.
I am a vampire and that is far more than enough.
I am that which must be feared, worshipped, and adored.
The world is mine - now and forever.
No one holds command over me.
No man. No god. No prince.
What is the claim of age for ones who are immortal?
What is the claim of power for ones who defy death?
Call your damnable hunt.
We shall see whom I drag screaming to hell with me!

Love Poem (from God to the Devil)

A vampire's kiss, my soul was broken
Upon my heart you left your token.
Memories stir where my mind paths meet
You flew there in darkness to make me complete.
I screamed your name inside my head
Already knowing that you were dead.
I've clutched at causes, felt silent wrath,
It's all in vain, I knew your path.
You chose it when my soul was young
Though you were tired, to heaven you clung.
I tried to hold you, to stop your descent
You were dying inside, but refused to repent.
Now all is gone, but I can't see it clearly;
My friend is gone, I still love you dearly.

These next two pieces were written by Countess Erzsebet Bathory, the first being a poem, the second a prayer.

Lestat's Rebirth

The fall of an angel appears to have taken place,
Yet he bleeds, he breathes,
He walks, he talks
Though he is no longer human.
At the twilight he awakens,
The darkness hides his smooth pale skin,
His mesmerizing eyes,
His charasmatic smile,
The sensuality of his masculine form.
He gives us what we most desire,
The erotica, the exotica.
A passion far more powerful then the intimacy of sex occures.
Then he casts the shadow of death upon us;
For a vampire has been born.

Erzsebet's Prayer

Help me, O Clouds.
O Clouds, stay by me,
Let no harm come to me.
Let me remain healthy and invinsible

Send, O send, you powerful clouds, ninety cats.
I command you, O King of the Cats, I pray you.
May you gather them together,
even if you are in the mountains,
or on the waters,
or on the roofs,
or on the other side of the ocean.
May these ninety cats appear to tear and destroy
the hearts
of kings and princes,
And in the same way,
the hearts
of teachers and judges,
so they shall harm me not.

Holy Trinity, protect me!

Bathory

She yells in torment
and she yells in horror
of a hell that has come to
haunt her
and she fills
no breath or
draws apon faces of death
death has seduced a heart
that was dead
along with each soul
induced to a vain, pale body
of Bathory
her wrath much often
cursed with the voices
if a thousand madiens
cold and frail
hungry for a stale taste
of sunlight
sold to rips of physical matter
deminished with elements
of fire and steels
and chambers that carry a
destinctive smell of rotting virgin flesh
that is constantly calling apon an angel
known as death
and the ground that is flooded of
bloodied bodies of
a crimson tide
that washes in as the
billions of lies
muttered in one word..
bathory
and all the grey walls
are cast with tears once cried
as she sits on her throne of
torture, pain, and lust
laughing a cynical laugh
she hungers spoonfulls of sadistic
wails
they will become what I have
she whispers in the space of ebony hair
covered by veils of night
is she ravenous for the love
the love that I once tried
thirsting for the attention
that I once cried for?
Or does she just want what everyone has?
an eternal life promised and sold in running sand.
