Section's First "Take Your Child to Work Day" Is A Dismal Failure

Section's first annual "Take Your Child To Work Day" may not have been the best of plans.

Section’s first “Take Your Child to Work Day” did not turn out to be as successful as had first been hoped. Mr. Jones, father of Nikita and the organizer of the event, explained that the purpose was to “give our operatives’ children the opportunity to witness our jobs first-hand and to encourage interest in our field of work.” Although many “Take Your Child to Work” programs have been initiated throughout the country to help boost children’s confidence and self-esteem by visting the workplace, Section’s program seems to have had the opposite effect. Adam, the young son of Michael, is now in therapy suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder after witnessing five operatives being shot dead by terrorists in a parking garage during his day visiting his father’s workplace. He was then kidnapped and held hostage in a cell until Section One and Centre met the terrorists’ demands. Adam is also currently being tested for learning disabilities, as he seems incapable of following even simple instructions. Mr. Jones has also been harshly criticized for his subsequent events, “Falsely Accuse Your Child of Murder Day” and “Blackmail Your Child to Run Section Day.”
