blubut.jpg (685 bytes) Vietnam Unit Memorial Monument ~We are constructing a USN/USCoast Guard Vietnam Unit Memorial and small boat memorial at the Amphibious Base at Coronado, California. The web site lists all the particulars that will be placed on the memorial. The fact that it lists Navy and Coast Guard personnel in great detail and all ships and units that served in Viet Nam make it unique. All the work being done in the construction of the memorial and the restoration and up keep of the boats is being done by retired veterans who served in country on them. Our average age is 66. There are approximately 16
workers.
