Their second best album ( the best is Flesh & Blood ) - It sounds like it was recorded in a garage and as a result, has a brilliant under-produced / 'live' sound. A great party album, with many great individual songs.

CRY TOUGH - A medium paced song all about not giving in and following your dreams, no matter what.

I WANT ACTION - Basically about sex. A good live song.

I WONT FORGET YOU - A great ballad. A simple story of losing a loved one. I love the guitar work, especially the haunting solo.

PLAY DIRTY - All about the pub scene, paints a picture of what thier touring would have been like. ...fighting and drinking and more fighting & drinking. "if you want a thrill - take it down to Jimmys bar and grill".

LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN - This is where the action starts. One of my all time favs, the tempo really pick up and theres even a small drum solo in with the guitar solo. I guess this part 2 to PLAY DIRTY...the morning after. A great live song & real fun to play.

TALK DIRTY TO ME - No explaination needed here. This is the first Poison song I heard & I was hooked. Another fast paced song with an absolutly brilliant guitar solo ( my fav ). Possibly their greatest live song.talkdirty.mid talkunplugged.ra

WANT SOME, NEED SOME - A 'looking for love' song. Bret seems more energetic / looser and the drum volume has been turned up ( which Rik takes full advantage of ) to give a great beat to this one.

From around here the album becomes more complex and becomes a little more than two guitars, vocals & drums.

BLAME IT ON YOU - Whats worst than 'looking for love'?once youve found it but "cant get no nookie". I love the intro ( or lack there of ) - just four stomps from Rik then the first verse - like Bret cant wait to tell his story. Theres a lot happening in this song - even Bobby has a ( very ) small bass solo on this one < at 1:47 >, the use of different prechorus', different chorus', CC playing ( very quietly ) over the top of the chorus' and playing 2 guitars for the solo.

#1 BAD BOY - A great beat and guitar rythym all through this one. An anthem for every misfit out there. "Well im no upstanding citizen - but im standing up just the same" - classic. A simplerr song though CC squeezes in a riff every chance he gets and the ad lib drumming < at 2:48 > for the last 45 seconds is great.

LET ME GO TO THE SHOW - Back to full speed again. Rik has let loose here, I love the beat during the 2nd verse < at 0:53 >. CC is virtually playing over the whole song - a blast!
