HUNTINGDON PRESBYTERY

Staff Resourcing of Congregations: These funds support the work of the General Presbyter (Joy Kauffman) and the Presbytery office. The Presbyter works with the committees and teams of the presbytery, preaches in churches, edits the presbytery newsletter, and counsels church leaders and ministers.

Krislund Camp Staff Support: With the combined support of the Presbyteries of Huntingdon, Northumberland, and Carlisle, these funds help subsidize our camp.

Pastoral Care Consultant: Supports the work of Rev. Lynn Illingworth who serves as pastor to the pastors of our presbytery and their familes.

Presbyterian Homes: (Hollidaysburg, Phillipsburg, Orbisonia, Huntingdon). Providing continued care for residents who have outlived their financial resources..

Pahk 5 Nan Partnership: Working with Presbyterians of northern Thailand, our presbytery builds Christian friendship and leadership in rural churches, as we share the gospel.

Breezewood Truckers Ministry: An ecumenical ministry to truck drivers, travelers, and employees of the Breezewood Intersection of the PA Turnpike.

Undesignated: Supports other Presbytery programs not selected by our church.

MISSION SERVICE WORKERS

Sudan

Nancy McGauhey, Sudan: Nancy is a registered nurse serving through the Association of Christian Resource Organizations Serving Sudan (ACROSS). She will work as a health coordinator in the areas of health, HIV/AIDS and food security.

Larry & Inge Streshley, Congo: Larry & Inge have taken up a new assignment with the Presbyterian Community of the Congo and the Rural Health Program. Larry serves as a health consultant assisting in the development of health ministries. They work with their children Lisa and Michael.

Sharyn Babe, Haiti Sharyn is a guidance counselor at Quisqueya Christian School.

Tajikistan

Rev. Nadia K Ayoub, Tajikistan: Nadia is a children's social worker with Orphan Relief and Aid International

Theological Education Fund

Funds to operate our 12 PCUSA Theological Seminaries.

Young Adult Volunteers

The Young Adult Volunteer Program encocurages and supports young adults ages 19-30 at various mission sites in the United States and around the world. Leadership is developed, spiritual formation is supported and much needed service for Christ is rendered. This year we will be supporting young people working in Biloxi, Mississippi for Hurricane Katrina restoration.
