Kennedy, the daughter of JOHN F. KENNEDY, owned a cat named "Tom Kitten". Tom Kitten was the first
cat in the White House after Teddy Roosevelt's Slippers. Tom Kitten died on 21 August
1962.

Living in the
White House TEDDY ROOSEVELT loved to have his cat "Slippers" around. Slippers was a grey/blue cat and suffered from a decease,
resulting in having more than 5 toes at one feet.
