Moonwalk is a Straight Spanish Arabian mare with beautiful movement. She has a nice strong build, with little of that deer like fragile-ness some other Arabians sport, no, this is a working mare. She's just begining her career, but already she's opened in halter with an exciting win at the Arabian All Nations Cup!
She's currently training for endurance though her more laid back temperament still makes her a nice personal mount. She's becoming my favorite, now that she's had a bit more training under her belt. When we got her, she was scaresly tame! But her and Web's Into the Mist have opened my eyes to Arabians in endurance. I expect she should be able to compete well, the tasking race should be a perfect way to expend her excess energy. She's currently on a rigerous training schedule to guareentee her glory in the field.
As a broodmare, she should pass on her more Western-type conformation and will have foals available to the public later this year.
Unfortuantly, after an electrical fire all pedigree information on Moonwalk was lost; be assured we are still working to locate it.
Career highlights:
2005 All Nations Reserve Champion Senior mare.
Pictures
Photos from when she was younger before going completely gray.

Here she is, strutting her stuff. If her head wasn't bleached, you'd almost swear she was a roan with how dark her points still are.

And on the next step, there she goes swishing her tail in such a lovely manner!

Here she is, the photo is a bit too bright but you can see how light her chestnut hide has already been bleached by the grey gene compared to her still dark and glorious hair.

And here she is one more time, sniffing at the camera in a perfect pose. You can thank the Arabian All Nations Cup for such a nice background, this park was just a stroll down the road from where the shows were being held.
(Photos from here and here, real horses Camee and Chiquita.)
