Having some trouble deciding if you really want to spend the money and register your animals? Perhaps this page will help convince and educate you in the many benefits registration in the BoB Rare Breeds Club offers.
Upon successful registration all offical Rare Breed Club shows are free to registered animals, and along these same lines some shows are only open to registered animals. There will be other competitions to enter, trophies and awards to be won by the horse, dog or cat that excells in the show ring. Also, the Rare Breeds Club provides full pedigrees and information on all it's registered animals.
And best of all, it's easy to register! All you do is fill out the form on the Register page.
However, registration is not open to mixed bred animals, not even those with rare breeds in their lineage. Also, they have to be listed in the BoB breed indexes. And lastly they have to qualify as a rare breed.
What is considered a rare breed?
A rare breed is one with roughly 5 or less animals.
Along these same lines, an endangered breed is one with less than ten animals. You can send in registrations for endangered breeds, however they may or may not be accepted depending on just how many animals there are in the breed and the quality of the what you're trying to register.
And a stable breed is of course one with more than ten animals.
Once you register your animal it's registered for a lifetime, even if it's breed becomes listed as stable it may still compete for free in Rare Breed Club shows and will always be listed in it's registries, even when it passes away.
Remember please that none of this is real, that it is all based on the game Best of Breed and that it is all copyrighted and legal action will be taken if I find you have stolen anything, from art to text to ideas. Thanks.
