This tour of Britain and Ireland lasted for 27 days.  It wasn't nearly long enough!  The United Kingdom is undoubtedly my favorite place in the world - England especially.  This is definitely where I will be returning on my next trip.  Anything I say about the beauty of Britannia will end up being trite, but it is truly awe-inspiring.  If I had to recommend only one area in the world, it would be this - no contest.

The cities listed on the map with a black circle (open or closed) are the ones I visited.  The tour starts in London, England then travels westward to Wales.  From there, the journey continues across the Irish Sea to the Republic of Ireland.  After touring Ireland, we took the ferry back to Wales.   From there, the tour continues up throughout Scotland and finally back to London for departure back home to the United States.
