Hail the Kingdoms Virus, Archea,
Bacteria, Protista and Fungi!
Hail! Oh, hail the Little and the Many,
for upon them Life does stand...
and without them Life is not!

For theirs is always the last word
and none can their power defeat
they can bring down the greatest warriors
and put arrogant humans to sleep.

But should it come to pass that they're vanquished
(not quite likely, but still some would wish)
entire ecosystems would vanish:
their presence would be sorely missed.

They might just be the ones to honor me
with speeding me to a lifetime next
still I sing for I have known their Blessings
and I would not be here without them.
