"I can't believe this is really happening...I'm shocked." Buffy said a little dazed.

"It's really surprising. There are so many stories and novel and movies that deal with the end of the world, but when it really happens, no one knows what to do," Angel replied.

"I wish there was something I could've done. I'm the slayer, I'm supposed to protect the people, not watch tv while everyone else is in pain."

"Don't do this Buffy, there's nothing you could've done. It's insane to think that." Angel tried to comfort her.

Angel got up from his seat. He moved to Buffy and sat down next to her, pulling her into a tight embrace.

"All I can think of to do is pay our respects, and pray for their souls," Angel whispered.

"God bless all the victims of this act of horror," Buffy whispered back.
