It had been two days after Buffy left Angel to go back to Sunnydale. She had come to tell him, face to face, not to see her face to face anymore. Two days since he had asked the Oracles to turn him from a human to a vampire. Two days since everything had been forgotten. Two days.

Angel sat at his desk reading. He was reading a romance/mystery novel called Paper Quake. Angel was wholly and entirely entranced by the book. He was getting to the climax when there was a knock at the door.

Angel looked up, but didn't move. He started to grumble. Angel put his bookmark, which was a black and white photo of Buffy, in the book and walked to the door.

He opened the door, and standing there was a guy in a UPS uniform.

"There wasn't anyone at the secretary's desk...." the guy started.

"Can I help you?" asked Angel. Then Angel looked at the package the guy was holding. "Is that for me?"

"Are you Angel?"

Angel nodded.

"Sign here please." The UPS guy handed Angel the sheet of paper to sign. Angel handed it back and got the package. "Have a nice day, Sir," and with that, the UPS guy left.

Angel looked at the package wrapped in brown paper with a UPS logo on it. He walked over to his desk and put it down.

Angel figured it was from someone evil. No one on the side of good would bother to send him anything.

Doyle walked in just then.

"Ohhh, a present. Open it! Open it!"

Angel looked up at Doyle with a questioning look.

Doyle shrugged as Angel started to tear away the brown paper. Under the brown paper was fancy wrapping paper with hundreds of little, metallic, red roses on it. Angel tore that away too. All that was left was a box with something in it.

"Don't just stand ther man!! Open it!"

Angel pulled off the top of the box. He glanced inside. Then looked up.

"Well??"

"Chocolate and peanut butter."

Doyle grabbed the box and looked inside. There was a box of chocolates and a jar of peanut butter. He looked up.

"Hey," started Doyle. "There's a card." Doyle handed to card to Angel.

Angel read it to himself:
