Wendy Tang

Wendy is a grade 12 student at Gloucester High School. This is her third year with GHS musical theatre: she was an orchestra member in West Side Story (1997), the publicity manager and a waiter in Cabaret (1999). She also participated in the GHS drama production, The Crucible (1998). Wendy has gained many valuable experiences from the members and the teachers of musical theatre, especially Mrs. Scott and Ms. Stinnett.

Being a stage manager is not an easy task! Through working on past productions, Wendy has already learned how to build sets, how to communicate effectively with the directors, actors, and teachers, and has especially gained experience in being a leader.

Born in Hong Kong (which is now part of China), Wendy has been influenced by many different cultures around the world. She came to Ottawa at the age of nine with her family. Artistic from the very beginning, Wendy participated in musical pursuits, and was also involved in visual arts, where her the artworks were highly acclaimed by both family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, drawing, chatting through ICQ, and listening to her music. Her taste of music is very broad, as she likes artists such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to Ricky Martin to John Williams. Wendy is looking forward to working on this year's musical production alongside the production staff, cast members, and the ever-important crew!
