Evan Salmon

Hi there! I'm Evan Salmon, the co-director for this year's GHS production of Man of La Mancha. This is my first time directing a production of such caliber, and I look forward to the day when it will finally be performed. I'm glad to say that this year's cast is really enthusiastic, and that most of them fit their roles perfectly... *grin* So far, things have been running really smoothly and have been far more organized than in previous years. I hope that things continue to go our way, and we put on the most fantastic musical ever performed in the Ottawa region!

I was raised in Ottawa/Orleans, and have had training in theatre production throughout my whole high school career. In school, I enjoy social sciences, especially philosophy (yay Mr. Wright!). This time next year, I hope to see myself in university, hopefully either York (general arts) or Ryerson (theatre technical production). After that, I'm not quite sure... I don't really know where I'm going in life just yet. Maybe I could be a philosopher prince? *lol* Yes, I know that's just a fantasy. I guess I want to be involved with the theatre, or maybe be the owner of a hip café. All in all, it'll have to be related to artistic production somehow. Outside of school, I enjoy rpgs, movies (I work at the fire-trap.. er.. Silver City), parties, hanging with friends, and.. sleep!

I would like to send my thanks out to: Ms. Stinnet, Mab, Andrew, Leigh (for putting up with me), my family and of course, my co-director, Tamara.
