Andrew is a grade 12 student at Gloucester High School. This is his fourth production at GHS, his other credits including Francis Nurse (The Crucible), Frankie (42nd Street), and the customs officer (Cabaret). In Man of La Mancha, he plays the simpleton Sancho Panza: devoted sidekick to Don Quixote and the show's comic relief. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Andrew moved to Ottawa (and GHS) when he was 15. Besides musical theatre, he is in his 7th year of music, playing Alto/Baritone saxophone in the GHS senior concert band (Nat'l Gold), the GHS senior stage band (Nat'l Silver), the Gloucester community concert band, the Ottawa river youth band and singing in the Ottawa regional youth choir. Outside of music (which occupies most of his time) he works as a pharmacy technician. Thanks to parents, family and friends, especially Karen, Jeremy, Aaron, Sina and Jeannie for inspiration. |
