How Was It Up There in Heaven Today?
How was it up there in Heaven today?
What all did you get to do?
Did you walk on the streets of gold
as Jesus walked along side of you?
Did you get to sing with the Angels today
or just sit on the sidelines and listen?
Did you put a smile on the Father's face
when He saw your eyes glisten?
Did you sit on the river banks of Jordan
and hear the stories Noah had to tell?
Oh it must have been something to hear
how the animals got along so well.
Did you go talk to the King David?
And ask him about that giant?
Did you sit with Moses and hear how
the Children of Israel were so defiant?
Did you sit in the lap of the Mother of Jesus?
As she kiss your precious cheek?
Did she wrap her arms around you
and your name ... softly speak?
Did you play in the Garden of Eden
while the Angels watched you?
Oh did you spend the day sending love
as only you can do?
Did you walk with St. Peter today
and stand close at this feet?
And be the one to say welcome saints
and smile at those you'd greet?
How was it up there in Heaven today?
I can imagine what beauty you see.
But all the while, you are missed down here.
And ... oh I know you will always be.
And, although you're with the Father in Heaven;
We still miss your sparkling eyes!
And at night when the whole world is sleeping,
Your Mommie & Daddy lays awake & cries.
Now you are about to have your 3rd birthday.
But I guess you already knew this.
What kind of celebration will there be in Heaven?
Will you grab your Mom's birthday kiss?
I guess I will ask this one last question,
to the little angel that touches hearts everywhere.
When it's my turn to spend a day in Heaven,
will you be at the gate to welcome me there?

Not Long To Keep
Waiting for the miracle of birth,
Can be the greatest time on earth!
Inside a mom’s body, a baby grows,
Ten little fingers and ten tiny toes!
Names are thought of, for boy or for girl,
Will the hair be straight or will it curl?
Our love grew daily, with our bundle of joy,
After many months, we had our baby boy!
God sent a little angel, but not long for us to keep,
Gone three days later, causing many folks to weep.
But in those days our love grew more,
As our baby neared the Heavenly door.
He’s our son forever and will be waiting up above,
Please God tell the angels to give him lots of love!

On March 31, 2001 Roy Edward would have been
three years old. And on April 3, 2001 it will be the
3 years since he passed away. We miss him a lot and remember
him daily. He went to be with the Lord at only 3 days old so we
didnt have much time with him but the time we had we cherish all
the time. He was such a big baby and had the biggest hands.
He would more then likely be running with his brothers and his
new sister today as we celebrated his younger
brothers birthday yesterday. We miss Roy greatly but the Lord
has help us through the hard times. It is great knowing he is
with the Lord where there is now pain.
We just thank God Greatly because besides Roy God has blessed
us with 3 other children on being Roy's older brother which remembers
and reminds us of Roy all the time. Then after we lost Roy a year later almost to
the date we had his baby brother Sean and now just 3 months
ago, Roy, you have a baby sister Charis. We will let all you
brothers and sisters know of you and you will never be
forgotten. You are and always will be part of the family.
Three years ago you enter our lives and changed them forever.
You are a blessing to us. We Love you and Miss you.
