| Choices Am I to be alone in this world of mine, where hearts are cold and eyes are blind, or, am I to know others who I might find, whose eyes are open and hearts are kind. Am I to never live my dreams and spend my life in silent screams, or, am I to embrace life as it seems and live my life for all it means, Am I to live in dark of night, away from eyes and out of sight, or, am I to see each days new light and feel the warmth of sunshine bright. Am I to spend my nights alone with my hearts love never known, or, am I to know a love that's grown to a golden ring with a diamond stone. Am I to spend my life in fear afraid of those who might be near or, am I to know my life is dear and live my life safe and secure. Am I to walk head hung in shame, afraid to say outloud my name or, am I to live without the blame and speak with pride of where I came. Am I to break my family tree if I should tell them I am me, or, am I to live for them to see that I am happy and I am free. Am I to lose my friends so dear if who I am someday they hear, or am I to live with my friends near and in my voice my joys they hear.
