Welcome Freddie!!

Phew! Found my scratching post! I came to my new home on August 17th, 2004. As soon as I came inside, I found a great hiding place, under this nice sofa in the living room. My new mommy went to work so I stayed there until she got home. When she got home, I came out and started to explore. I'm really glad my stuff from my old home got brought over to my new home.

I love my fishing pole! When Mommy got home that first night, she brought me some great new toys!! I got a fishing pole with blue feathers at the end, and a purple mousie!! I like playing a whole lot, but Mommy tried to teach me this new game called "Tennis Ball". She throws this tennis ball down the hall, and I'm supposed to catch it and beat it up. She tried to tell me it was fun, but I thought it was scary, so I hid under the couch. I like mousie a lot better, so Mommy got me some more! That's good, because my first mousie got broken. Some white fluffy stuff and some leaves came out. Oopsie! You can't get me, mousie!

I don't know if Mommy thought I didn't have enough mousies, or something, but then she brought home these two kittens. I didn't like them, at first. They were kind of weird, and Mommy paid too much attention to them. Then, I thought they were okay, for a while, but then, they got too big and they kept eating my food and playing with my tail and using all my stuff! What a bunch of brats!

They lived with us for a long time! Three months! Happily, for the first month, they lived in the bathtub. But, then, Mommy let them out and I had to share my kitty litter box with them! Also, they got more meals than I did. That's not fair! But, now, since New Year's, they live with Mommy's friend. It sure is a happy new year for me!

She says that now, he's those babies' Daddy. She misses them a lot, but they come over to our house, and Mommy goes and visits them at their new house. She still spends too much time with those dumb babies. Hmph.
