We were born August 16th, 2004 (well, that's what Mommy says), but we weren't found until we were 4 weeks old by some lady named Rebekah, one of Mommy's friends. That lady took care of us for another week before Mommy got us. We came to live with Mommy on September 19th! At first, we lived in the bathtub! Mommy put down nice clean towels every day, and we were sure to make a big mess with our food on them, to make Mommy feel wanted! At first, Mommy fed us almost every meal from a bottle! We liked that a lot, but we were glad to start eating from a bowl, because then we got to step in the bowl and knock it over! That was really fun!
We also got our fur really messy, so Mommy gave us a bath in the sink almost every day! We didn't like that very much, but after the bath, Mommy would wrap us in a blanket and cuddle us and give us a bottle. That was nice.
Mommy let us out of the bathtub, too, especially on weekends. We would play a lot, but we would sleep a lot, too! This car sponge makes a nice bed! This picture was taken when we were almost 6 weeks old. Mommy said we were getting big already! The day this picture was taken, Nimbus had finally learned to drink her formula from a bowl! She just loved the bottle, so it took her a long time, but she knew that it would make Mommy happy if she could eat from a bowl. Mommy loved giving us bottles, though!
Nowadays, Freddie yells at us a lot, and tells us he doesn't like us and he wants us to go away. But, he really likes playing with us a whole lot, which we really like, because we think Freddie is the coolest! We really like Freddie's blankie, and we sleep on it all the time. Also, we really like Freddie's toys, but Mommy says that we aren't old enough to play with catnip, whatever that is. Oh well, we play with Freddie's tail; that's really fun! Also, Freddie teaches us lots of things, like how to look out the window, and how to jump on the counter and the bookshelf. Mommy yells at us when we do that, though. Mean Mommy.
At Christmas, we went to live with Daddy, but we got to go to Mommy and Freddie's house when Mommy came back home from her trip to Connecticut. Nimbus and I got a lot of stuff! We got a Kitten Mitten, catnip bubbles, and treats from Mommy's Mama, and Nimbus got a pink leash from Mommy! Mommy said that I (Cumulus) have to wait until she can find a light blue one for me to get one too. Then, Mommy said that she will take both of us outside!! Oh boy!! Freddie is always telling us that outside is really fun! Until then, Nimbus and I like to play with her leash!
