Running to stand still

Running to stand still

When I walk into your mind's room you're in another room but I hear four feet walking and four hands knocking. I know you're torn in two but tell me you're a whole now. I know it's because of me but don't throw away that chair I just want you to be one. Just tell me if you're disappointed or if I left a bad taste in your mouth. Just tell me why you change your mind so often, why you can't take a decision everytime it's about me. I walk into your room and this blue wallpaper reminds me of a lot of good times we had when I was on your good side. I hear light footsteps on the stairs please say something, we don't have much time left. I walk into your room and you're still shouting after the shadow of a bad event I'm not representating. I was looking for your heart but it was like chasing shadows and you left me in the darkest night. I walk into your room and you're now sitting on your bed crying and wondering what you could do to get better. The light footsteps are coming and please say something I'm here to help you. I know I didn't use the right way to love you but I had no choice. I walk into your room and you're looking through the window and your beautiful eyes are looking at the horizon to find an answer. Now we hear a knock at the door and you're obliged to turn out. I walk into your room and feel it's the end now. If you have said something maybe those light footsteps didn't have to walk up those stairs. The Death comes in.
