Provincetown Redux...The Land of Fun and Fake Fur! |
I just had to keep this pic in here somewhere...This is my dear friend Junie and I at First Event in Woburn in February 2004. It was wicked cold the night I was there, so everyone stayed at the hotel to party...imagine a hotel bar packed to the walls with T-girls! My furry black outfit was a hoot to wear...EVERYONE was looking...you can't see them in this pic, but guess what I had on my feet...furry boots. These were real snow boots, tho, so they were perfect for the weather. Of course, furry boots are perfect for any weather, if you ask me... |

This is me with the incredible Diana Arria in Provincetown in May 2004. At this point, Diana was very recently fully transitioned, a beautiful woman 24/7. And she was rightfully proud of her new tits!! :) |

This is Yvon Steele, Junie and me at "Vixen" in Provincetown, 2004...its not necessarily a wild place, but we do seem to get a bit nutty there. Just something about being a girl 'round-the-clock, in a town where TGs are just part of the scenery, and being with great friends...how can you not let loose a little? I do need to work on my party endurance, tho...we were out late on Friday, and I was too pooped to pop Saturday night..but I gave it my best shot! |

Just l'il ol' me at the P-town Inn in 2004. Maybe its because we're less self-absorbed, or maybe it because we've got so many other things to do, but we seem to take a lot less pics than we used to...I know for DAMN sure that we're prettier than ever! |

Ahhh...furry boots! I've looked at those "apres-ski" boots for years, but I couldn't justify spending $200. So instead, I made them! I got some cheap slip-on shoes, and bought the fake fur on the Web. Then I used my devilishly crafty side, and *voila*. These are SO comfortable...and so totally fun. I had a blast just having them on, and I got a LOT of comments, from all sorts of folks. They're my absolute favorite boots of all time. Yes, they're goofy, but I love them! The outfit was another MishaCreation, using denim stuff I got from a thrift store and hacked to pieces. I bought some fabric locally, and made the sleeves and skirt to match. I even went the extra step of finding an old denim shirt, cutting off the cuffs, and attaching them to my flannel sleeves. I swear, EVERY year, I complain how I put wayyyy too much work into outfits like this, and swear I'll never do it again. Then the next year, I'm doing something even more preposterous. If you're a fan of faux fur like me, I have a link to a couple reliable retailers on my "Links" page. |
