You wander into the kitchen, wondering if dinner's ready yet.
"It's not," the smallish blue dragon stirring a large pot of spaghetti informs you. "And yes, I can read minds. Sort of, anyway. I'm an empath, not a telepath, but even I can identify an 'is dinner ready yet?' without too much trouble."
You sit down hard. Talking dragons that can read minds... what next?
"Aww, cummon, you don't hafta sit on the floor!" Seevret (at least you think that's his name, it's what his apron says anyway) points to the eating area. "Look, we got chairs for that!"
