How to connect the lights to the Mini-Z Racer? Easy!! Here are the steps and pics:

When you're connecting the LEDs to the power source, you have many options on where to get the power: eg. direct from the car battery, or motor leads. The most easiest way is directly from the car battery. There are two battery tabs in the bottom left and right corner of the car. These will be the connection tabs. With the Mini-Z's front end facing away from you, the tab on the left is negative and the tab on the right is positive. In the picture on the right (click to enlarge) I have connected the wires using the tab method. BUT! Instead of the wires hanging off the side of the Mini-Z, I used a peice of metal (paper clip, or strong wire) and hooked it onto the screw that holds the "stay" for the circuit board. This picture shows the plug to where I'm going to connect the LED set. Notice that I marked black and red with pen so i don't get mixed up with positive and negative. Click on picture to enlarge. **Remember to choose a "Female" plug. A "Male" plug may cause easy antenna shorting.**
