Lemon Bars


1 Cup butter
1 Cup Flour
4 well beaten eggs
2 Cup sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons Real lemon juice or juice of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Powdered sugar

Part 1
Mix butter and flour together until smooth press into 9x13 inch ungreased pan and bake at 350* for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

Part 2
In a good sized bowl beat eggs until slightly frothy beat 2 sugar and lemon juice into eggs. Fold in baking powder. Pour this mixture over crust while it is still hot. bake at 325* for 25 minutes. As soon as you remove it from the oven sprinkle with powdered sugar. Loosen the crust from the sides of the pan while still warm.
