Rothesay Writings October 2002
The October meeting was an Emulation of the First
Degree.
There were twelve
members present and one visitor. AGSW
Bob Clark reported that $1.2B has now been raised for the Leukaemia
Foundation. The home at Townsville has
been opened.
Don’t forget our
Ladies Night to celebrate Christmas this month. If you can’t make you can still be in the raffle for the wheelbarrow
of goodies to be drawn at the annual Christmas Breakfast at Noel Sharp’s place
at 16 Hamel Rd, Holland Park. Starting
time to suit yourself – anytime from 7:30 am.
Regrettably we have
some sad news this month – Gregory Barnes, the son of Neil and Hazel Barnes passed
away on 27 October. Our sympathy and
thoughts are with Neil and Hazel.
