Features:
Brgy. Minalungao administratively part of municipality of Gen.Tinio 15 kms. South East of Gen. Tinio, 8 kms. West of the foot of Sierre Madres. The place is along Sumacbao river with the width of 60 meters and some parts of the river has 70 ft. in depth up to 2 ft. in summer days and runs at the normal speed of 8 kms per hr. from the barangay.

Historical/Geologic Events:
During the Paleozoic era specifically the Davonian time periods of rock system the rise of the first amphibians and the first land snails and primitive land plants this limestone with an underwater origin been raised 50 million years ago. The same time when the highest peak in the archipelago was created by volcanic origin (Mt. Apo Sandawa), and at the same time the highest cave in the archipelago (the Sumaguing Cave) were lots of fossilized sea shells where discovered at the ceiling of the cave in 1925. Minalungao limestone believed to be at that age. You have to observe the very curve of the limestone made by water. U.S. Geological Survey in 1905 have plotted this, that for every centimeter rock etched is equivalent to a thousand years, this was confirmed by U.P. Department of Geology in 1930's. So, just imagine how old it is! Minalungao also believe to be a camp or a rest and recreation or hospital of the Nueva Ecijano Patriots led by General Tinio, Natividad, Llanera during the Filipino-American War in 1899-1901.
