These two girls are Velma Foulks and Virgie Pryer. Virgie was the daughter of Harry Filmore Pryer and Margaret Jane Hopkins. Virgie was born in 1912 and died in 1999. Sarah writes "I believe one of the girls at the bottom photo is Myrtle Pryer the sister to Virgie, I am not sure at this time who the other girl is she could be Sybol Pryer the other sister to Virgie and Myrtle." This photo is of George Riley Hopkins and his sons Delbert and Allen. George was the son of James Allen Hopkins and Arcelia Ann Seevers. George was born in 1892 and died in 1932. This photo was taken in either Missouri or Michigan. (This picture came from Sarah Waterman.)







This is the James Allen Hopkins family. James was married to Arcelia Ann Seevers. Arcelia was the daughter of Thompson Elkins Seevers and Margaret Jane Thompson. Sarah describes the photo "Enda, Jimmy Hopkins, Arcelia(Annie) Hopkins Bailey, Harry F. Pryer, Margaret Jane Hopkins-Pryer, Elmer Elkins Hopkins, Osa Delphia Hopkins (my grandmother) Maudell, William Elmer Bailey, Vernetta Bailey, (my Great grandpa) James Allen Hopkins, (my great grandma) Arcelia Ann Seevers Hopkins, Sybil Pryer,Myrtle Pryer, Virgie Pryer." This is Lydia Sharlotte Hopkins holding puppy, in the door is her older sister Osa Delphia Hopkins. They are the daughters of Arcelia (Seevers) Hopkins and James A. Hopkins. This picture was taken shortly before Lottie was hurt and died, she fell backwards into a scalding hot water kettle type tub and lived a few days before dying from her injuries. She had been playing tag with her brothers,and sister when this happened. Her mother did laundry to earn money and that is why there was an open kettle of boiling water near by. This is Ella Margaret (Seevers) Johnson and her mother Maude Elvira (Iams) Seevers. Ella was born in 1895 and Maude was born in about 1872 and died in 1959. (This picture came from Sarah Waterman.)










This is Arcelia Ann (Seevers) Hopkins Morris and her second husband Richard Mooris. Arcelia was the daughter of Thompson Elkins Seevers and Margaret Jane Thompson. Arcelia was born in 1862 and died in 1948. (This picture came from Sarah Waterman.)
