White Lion Bassplayer Claus Langeskov will be playing in the band for the
Danish participant at the Eurovision songcontest in Moscow!
Denmark will be in the 2nd half final.
this will be the 2nd time that a White Lion member will play at this contest.
Mike tramp participated with his band Mabel way back in the 70's already.

Mike Tramp currently is participating in a Danish TV show in which he formed
a rock choir which wil compete against other choirs.
Every week one choir has to leave untill one choir wins the final.
(like idols but now only with choirs).
the money earned by this program will be given to charity.
The programm is called ALLSTARS.

All the trademarks of the White Lion classic sound can be found again in the

WHITE LION SIGNED TO FRONTIERS RECORDS:
Frontiers Records has announced the signing of WHITE LION for the band's first
studio album in 16 years, entitled "Return of the Pride". The CD was
produced by MIKE TRAMP and Claus Langeskov during 2007 in both Australia
and Copenhagen and is scheduled for release on March 14.
According to singer MIKE TRAMP, the album title could be interpreted in two
ways. "In a musical sense, we have taken a step back in time rather than a
step forward in time," he says. "Over the course of this album, lyrically
and musically many concepts and themes have been explored. Maybe 'Return
of the Pride' means something entirely different."
WHITE LION will hit the road again in the summer of 2008. "We are not
interested in fixing what isn't broke," says Mike. "Our mission is simple:
to bring the classic sound of WHITE LION to the people that still live for
that music." Mike adds that the band's new album will be "classic rock in
its truest form and a representation of the musical influences that have
attached themselves over time."

Just found this great review from the Sweden Rock Festival show White
Lion did last summer:
WHITE LION, which made its first roars at three o'clock on Sweden Stage.
The legendary 80's hard rock group played 75 minutes, and so managed to
include a good selection of hits in the set.
Unfortunately White Lion has for years only included Mike Tramp as the only original member, so we couldn't witness the fine guitar work by Vito Bratta, but Jamie Law played brilliantly as well.
Tramp is still a good showman, he didn't speak much between the songs, but sang like it was still 80's.
He even showcased his talents at the end of "Lady Of The Valley" with a gigantic scream, which ended to his voice delaying over the speakers for a while.
Seing the band for the first time brought up such an amazing feeling, shivers down my spine and almost a tear in my eye, that I couldn't help but smile through the show. It was magical.
And sometimes you gotta wonder how you can still remember lyrics from two
decades ago. Everyone was singing along and felt the warmth of memories the
band's classy performance raised.
Tramp's thoughts wondered to the 80's a few times, and he thought, like most
of us, that 80's rocked this night and so took us "back to the
battlefield", playing "All The Fallen Men".
He also dedicated "Living On The Edge" to the glory of the 80's, and brought
up such classic tunes like Iron Maiden's "Rime Of The Ancient Mariner" and
Black Sabbath's "Heaven And Hell" in his speaches, after which his conclusion
was that White Lion doesn't have a classic 80's ballad,
playing "When The Children Cry" afterwards.
That did the trick too, and most do consider it a ballad, even with such a wimpy title.
Unfortunately only one song was heard off "Mane Attraction", which is a great
album in my opinion, and that was "Broken Heart", actually
already released in "Fight To Survive".
The Golden Earring cover "Radar Love" ended the show with style, although they
could've played an own song instead.
Keysman Henning "wanderer" Wanner was seen wandering all around the festival
area, though mostly backstage. The man has energy and takes time
to chat with fans and other people.
Setlist: Hungry, Little Fighter, El Salvador, Living On The Edge, Broken Heart,
Tell Me, All The Fallen Men, If My Mind Is Evil, Lady Of The Valley,
Wait, When The Children Cry, Radar Love (Golden Earring cover)

MIKE TRAMP ANNOUNCES WHITE LION WITHDRAWAL FROM US TOUR:
In response to the recent rumors surrounding White Lion and the Poison / Ratt
summer tour - White Lion frontman Mike Tramp responds:
"On behalf of myself and White Lion, I would like to clear up the many
misperceptions and rumors that have been created by Live Nation's decision
to withdraw White Lion as the opening act of the summer 2007 Poison tour.
While we are limited in what we can say about the issue because of
pending litigation, we can inform everyone that Live Nation's decision
was not based on any controversy over whether Mike Tramp has the
legal right to perform as White Lion.
Our information is that Live Nation's decision was based upon a threatened
lawsuit by former White Lion guitarist Vito Bratta. Even though Live
Nation believed Vito's lawsuit to be frivolous and had confirmed that Mike
Tramp has the legal right to perform as White Lion, they did not want
to spend '1 dollar' on litigation. Faced with the cancellation of a
tour that was to begin within weeks, our attorneys went the extra mile to
work out a deal with Vito Bratta to drop his threatened lawsuit but even
with the threat of litigation eliminated, Live Nation continued on their
ill-informed course of dropping White Lion from the Poison tour.
Like myself, I know that there are many fans across the United States who are
extremely disappointed by Live Nation's decision and we intend to use
all options to fight this arbitrary and misinformed decision.
Hopefully, there will be a day when decisions about staging a rock n' roll
tour will be more about pleasing the fans and less about conservative and
baseless corporate decisions.
Unfortunately, as has been the case far too many times, instead of playing rock n' roll
as planned, we are going to end up in court." - Mike Tramp
Regardless of not being part of the Poison tour, White Lion will still
continuing touring and fulfill their many headline shows in the USA that
were scheduled between the Poison shows, including the Rocklahoma festival.
Mike Tramp is also confirming to MelodicRock.com that the band has just
finished recording their first studio album due
to be released later this year.
The album will be mixed by Dennis Ward and will be titled: Return of the Pride.

WHITE LION SIGNS MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH JEFF KELLER MANAGEMENT LLC
80's rockers, WHITE LION, have agreed to a management agreement with the
California based Jeff Keller Management LLC (management home for Stephen
Pearcy, Herman Rarebell, American Heartbreak, and Omen, among others).
With this agreement, Jeff Keller will represent the band for the North American territory.
"Having been a longtime fan of White Lion, I am extremely pleased
to be working with the band.
Mike Tramp's passion for the band is inspiring, and I look forward to working
closely with him to build something strong in North America," Jeff Keller said of the signing.
Discussions are in the works to bring the band over to the US this summer for a series of dates.
In addition, the band is also currently working on a new studio album, their
first since 1991's "Mane Attraction", with an anticipated release the latter part of 2007.

MIKE TRAMP TO PERMANENTLY RETIRE WHITE LION
Melbourne, November 20, 2005
For immediate release.
A series of events has led me to the decision that, in today�s day and age there seems to be not enough interest to continue exploring possibilities for another tour with TRAMP�S WHITE LION. It is a shame that, aside from 30.000 people at this year�s BANG YOUR HEAD festival, no other European country will see the band. I had put TWL together for a reason. That reason was giving the fans what they had been asking for all these years. Unfortunately, promoters are not backing this up and no one seems to be confident enough to make a leap of faith to help make this thing happen. This was my final attempt in continuing the legacy of WHITE LION. So from now on, there will be no more looking back at the past, this was the final roar.
I will now focus only on my solo career and will take my time finishing my new solo album that will be released sometime next year. I will work on other ways of presenting MIKE TRAMP live, from intimate acoustic settings to a full band and will be touring whenever it feels right but only when all parameters are in order.
Until then, enjoy Tramps White Lion �Rocking the USA� double album out on Frontiers records now.

Mike Tramp is one of the greatest international successes the Danish entertainment industry has produced.
In the 70s he was Michael Trempenau and a teen idol in Denmark. In the 80s he was selling millions

Nevertheless, Mike Tramp still has a large international fan base from his times with White Lion and Freak of Nature.

MIKE TRAMP BOOK RELEASE SOON:
Mike will release a book about his life from birth and up and till a year ago.
It's written by his very close friend Lars Daneskov over the past 10 years,
and when mike read it, he was blown away with how much life he has lived, quite scary indeed.
UNFORTUNATELY!
At this moment it is written only in Danish. It is a book that tells the story of a kid from
Denmark who went out into the world to find adventure and seek his dreams.
Most of you know a lot of what happened from '83 and onward, but this book has so
much to do with the years before and why, when and how.
It also has a lot of pictures.
Mike is looking into how to make an English version trust him on that. It's just at this moment
it's not just something he can do in a flash.
For those of you "Tramp Diehards" who can't live without having one.
It willl be available in the Trampshop soon, and you should be able to order it within 7-10 days.
The book is being released on September 20th in Denmark.

this was a miscommunication.
THERE WILL BE A TRAMPS WHITE LION DOUBLE LIVE ALBUM RELEASE THIS FALL.
And this album truly is mixed by Michael wagener according to tramp and his manager.

TRAMPS WHITE LION rocks Bang Your Head festival in Balingen-Germany.
Mike tramp teamed up with his fellow TWL bandmates to act as the very special surpise
act to rock 35000 spectators last weekend.
This has all been kept very quiet by the band and his management.
this was neccesary to not spoil the surprise for all visitors at the festival.

drummer Troy Patrick Farrell , who has worked with MIKE TRAMP on tour in the past, will join former GUNS N' ROSES keyboardist Dizzy Reed
and his project HOOKERS N' BLOW for live dates in February. Farrell will then hit the road with TRAMPS WHITE LION in March for a string of North American dates.

MIKE TRAMP SET TO CLOSE ONE CHAPTER AND BEGIN A SECOND:
Following the conclusion of Mike Tramp's European tour,
the former White Lion and Freak Of Nature frontman has decided
it is time to define his ongoing solo career in relation to his past history.
Only a week after the end of Mike Tramp's European tour,
Tramp is announcing that this is the end of his band playing both White Lion
and Freak of Nature songs in his solo live set.
But at the same time Mike is announcing that he is forming Tramps White Lion -
a band dedicated 100% to the original sound and songs of White Lion.
"Now is the time for me to make the separation for real and make it all clear to
everyone what it is I am doing.
My solo career was always going to be a departure from both White Lion and Freak of Nature,
and I felt I did that well with my first album Capricorn.
But I feel that because I have been playing a mix of songs in my live set,
I have also taken steps backwards in my solo career, when what I wanted to do was
take many steps further away from what I was known as.
With Tramps White Lion, I now can perform that classic sound with no compromise,
and at the same time take my solo career to the musical place that I want to go."
Tramp says he never got the chance to clear up last years mess with the White Lion
re-union, but now have the perfect way to set things straight.
"Everybody jumped the gun last year before we even had a chance to confirm anything.
Yes Vito and I was talking back and forth about a possible re-union,
but from the first conversation and till the last, he always told me he would not do it.
But before I knew it I saw the band's name announced on festivals throughout Europe.
I heard other guitars players name mentioned as replacement and so on.
But nothing was ever confirmed from our side.
I am now making the final statement.
There will never be an original White Lion re-union,
and the only one performing White Lion will be Tramps White Lion.
I am personally contacting promoters around the world to let them know that this is the way it will be.
I will also be handling the managing of Tramps White Lion myself.
At this moment I am talking to several players to take part in this band.
But if the band will ever perform will totally depend on the interest of the promoters
and the demand of the fans.
But rest assure Mike Tramp is moving forward no matter what."
