My Experiences

Oh my goddess! I have had so many experiences I just need to vent them,  and who is a better psychologist than other pagans? Man if you think your life's bad, try this stuff on for size!


Two years ago I wore a black trenchcoat to walk my dog on a rainy day and almost got beat up at a bus stop by people who called me such names as goth, vampire, and trenchcoat mafia, even though I am not goth and do not wear all black or dark makeup.

A lot  of my  friends have ditched me. Every person who I tell I am pagan dissacociates themselves with me quickly, except for those who I tell over the internet.

One of my best friend's other friends started hanging out with a girl who was pagan. Soon afterwords my friend told him to break it off with her or she'd stop being his friend. She calls me all the time to tell me how much she hates pagans and how they are devil worshippers. She makes  her friend's life a living hell, saying that she is right and he is wrong. I have known her since preeschool, thus cannot break up the friendship. I will never be able to tell her that I am wiccan.

I sent a boy I liked an e-mail last year. We talked for about a month, off and on. He expressed to me that his parents were not very nice to him. Trying to make him feel better, (and being angry at my mom at the time) I told him some things about my parents. Turns out his mom read my e-mail, sent it to my mom, and I have not been able to talk to that boy since.

In 6th grade, my friends were the "popular people". I got sort-of ditched by them for almost no reason and had no friends (or self esteem) for about 2 years.

I went to the library to get a pagan book alone. I told my mom I was getting catcher in the rye. She cought me coming out of the library with it. She's understanding, and I think she knows I'm pagan but says nothing. It was embarassing nonetheless.

My life isn't that bad, I just feel like I need to vent some of these things to pagans, since I can't tell my family or friends. If you have solutions, PLEASE E-MAIL ME! at Midnightdreamer8@earthlink.net
