I have amassed a collection of over 100 tapes, and over 200 competitions between 1976 and 2002. And I'm still filling out my collection.

I began collecting tapes in 1995. My very first was the 1995 U.S. nationals. I taped the last two event finals because I was leaving and couldn't watch them. I discovered it was great to have it on tape because I watched it over and over and over.

So my obsession had begun . . . my tapes have moved with me from Winnipeg to Kingston to Toronto to London to Washington and now back to Winnipeg. Whenever I am bored, or in a dumpy mood, I pop in a tape and everything is well again.

I prefer to trade but I will sell tapes for cost because I know what it's like not to have anything to trade. My rules for selling can be found here.

Understanding my list:

Each meet is listed under the year of the competition. They are not in any particular order other than that. Each meet is listed with the following information:

Meet name, gender of gymnasts, competition type (all-around, event finals etc), quality, length.

I rate my tapes on a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

5 = near perfect quality

4 = great quality, tape may be a little older or have a few bumps or skips.

3 = okay quality, sound or picture are a little fuzzy

2 = poor quality, fuzzy picture

1 = very poor quality, hard to watch.
