1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup salt
3/4 cup boiling water
Mix the ingredients, knead once
or twice. Refrigerate until cold. This recipe makes dough that is great
for sculpting or molding. Leave creation out until dry, then paint.
Procedure:
1) Mix equal amounts of flour, salt and water in a bowl
2) Pour into four or more small cups and color with food coloring
3) Give to child with paint brushes or pour into squeeze bottles (such as ketchup or mustard bottles), for them to squeeze out. Suggest using construction paper or something similar.
The paint will dry raised and shiny!
Coat the bananas with peanut butter and then dip into the crushed cereal mixture.
Crushed fruit loops works great but feel free to be creative.
Kids love this activity, small
children will need a lot of help but they will have a blast rolling the
banana in the crushed mixture! Not to mention they will love to eat
them too!
To serve, dip fruit in yogurt, coat all sides. Roll in granola.
When bringing these kabobs to a
picnic, pack the granola, yogurt and fruit separately in tightly
covered plastic containers. Keep cold in a cooler until ready to serve.
Fingerpaint
