It was about 1945 that man discovered the mysterious cryptogram hidden in the Old Holy Book which was written in Hebrew 3000 years ago. A letter taken from every word at fixed spaces apart can be arranged to form meaningful sentences. The contents include the exact years of World War I, World War II, the birth of Einstein, the exact dates of the assassination of Ghandi, the former Israeli prime minister Rabin, the great earthquakes in San Francisco and Kobes and the name of the present US president, Clinton. The Holy Book holds the past, present and future. When deciphered, everything about the end of the world will come to light.

Nino is very obedient but only cries whenever Weilai carries him. Dami looks after him and finds that he is the easiest baby to look after.

Frankie runs into Forget It Bar and sees Dingdang and Dami. He tells them that a ghost is chasing him. This ghost has been making trouble in the television station. He tells them that he has approached Xiaoling for help but a lady who looks a lot like Xiaoling also turned up to help him catch the ghost. As a result, Xiaoling and the lady fought. The lady is actually Mimi. Fenren arrives at Forget It Bar with Fusheng following him. Fenren finds Fusheng a nuisance and has thrown him into a trashcan earlier on.

As Xiaoling and Mimi fight, they arrive at Forget It Bar. They make a deal with each other. The person who catches the ghost will win and will be the teacher. Dingdang volunteers to be the judge. The ghost enters Frankie’s body and Xiaoling immediately throws a talisman towards him but the tailsman is intercepted by Mimi as she does not want Xiaoling to win. Frankie then runs out of Forget It Bar. The gang then follows. Mimi releases the Fire Dragon. The Fire Dragon disappears halfway as Xiaoling injures her. Xiaoling then subdues the ghost using a talisman. She gives Mimi a slap as she is furious to see that Mimi is willing to sacrifice Frankie’s life in order to capture the ghost and win. She does not accept Mimi as her disciple although she has won. Mimi is angry to be slapped by Xiaoling and storms off.

Xiaoling questions Dingdang who she is and how Mimi masters Thunder Manoeuvre. Dingdang tells Xiaoling to ask Danna about a person called Ma Dingdang.

Xiaoling receives a call while she is in her car. The person on the other line is Tianyou. However, Tianyou does not talk.

Nino grows into an adult and goes to Forget It Bar to drink. Nobody knows his identity. He wears a red coat together with Dami’s pants and sports shoes. He questions Weilai, who is also at Forget It Bar, why a mother will want to kill her own son. Weilai is upset to hear this question as she is reminded of how she tried to kill her own son. Fusheng asks Xiaoling about Tianyou’s whereabouts but Xiaoling does not know. All she knows is that Tianyou had gone to look for Qiu-shu some time ago and asked the latter to destroy him but Qiu-shu is injured instead.

Tianyou goes to a rooftop and thinks of Zhenzhen again. Mimi also goes to the rooftop and shouts. She sees Tianyou, lying unconsciously on the floor, and brings him back home. Tianyou keeps thinking of Xiaoling and Mimi is angry to learn about it after listening to his heart. She lies close to Tianyou and calms him down by letting Tianyou hear her heartbeat (a cat’s heartbeat can calm a disturbed mind). She also explains to Tianyou that she and Dami each ate half of the dragon pearl 60 years ago and became humans.

Dingdang, Weilai and Fenren go back to Dami’s house and discover that Nino is missing. Dingdang guesses that the person in the red coat at Forget It Bar is Nino. When they go back to Forget It Bar, Nino is already gone. The gang goes out to look for him. Weilai is worried for his safety.

On his way, Nino sees a enormous dragon. He is called Shuangshuang. Shuangshuang sneezes and shrinks until palm size. Shuangshuang reveals that somebody is chasing him. Nino promises to save him. Dali, Qi Luo and Crow arrive and grab Shuangshuang but Shuangshuang disappears from their hands and appears on Nino’s hand. Qi Luo runs forward using his incredible speed and beats Nino but Nino is not injured. Instead, he learns from Qi Luo (his incredible speed) and also manages to hit him. Crow goes forward and hits Nino using his vampire skills but Nino asks Crow to show him one more time because he has not seen it clearly. After Crow releases his powers again, Nino happily announces that he has learnt the skill and he hits Crow back using the same skill, defeating him. The three of them do not know that he is actually the Star of Evil.

The next morning, Dami finds Nino alone by a river and asks him to go back but Nino refuses as he does not know why his mother wants to kill him. Dami explains to him that Weilai must have her own reasons for doing this and she also tells him to read more books to learn more. Nino tells Dami that he has not much time left. However, Dami does not know what he means because she thinks that Nino still has many years ahead. Dami brings Nino to an amusement park to play. Nino sees a father and a son eating ice-cream happily together and becomes very upset as he is again reminded of what his mother did. Dami calls Weilai up secretly. Weilai arrives shortly after that but she refuses to tell Nino the truth and asks him to give her a chance to be a good mother.

Dingdang wants Weilai to face her own problems alone but Weilai is unable to. Dingdang helps Weilai by explaining to Nino that killing people is wrong. Thus, his mother wants to kill him as she is afraid that Nino may kill more people when born. Dingdang also tells Nino that Zhenzhen and many people are killed by his father and hence, his father deserves to die. Nino understands and forgives his mother.

Dali, Qi Luo and Crow arrive at Forget It Bar and demand for Shuangshuang. They then discover that the person whom they have fought with earlier on is the Star of Evil. Nino is not afraid of them as he knows that their skills are easy to learn. Dingdang tells them to get the Vampire Commander to get Shuangshuang back. The three of them then leave to inform the Vampire Commander. They also secretly discuss together who Dingdang is.

The Vampire Commander arrives at Forget It Bar and chats with Dingdang for a while. He then goes with Dingdang and Weilai to the rooftop to look for Nino. He gets the energy out from Shuangshuang after promising Nino that he will not kill Shuangshuang. The energy of the dragon is actually needed to slumber Nuwa.

Xiaoling questions Danna about Dingdang but Danna refuses to tell Xiaoling. Instead, she gets very angry on hearing Dingdang’s name. Xiaoling then asks Qiu-shu. Qiu-shu tells Xiaoling that the male descendents of the Ma help to continue the generation while the female descendents become ghostbusters. Dingdang is actually Xiaoling’s aunt and is the most powerful ghostbuster in the Ma Clan and also is the one who has the highest possibility to succeed in subduing the Vampire Commander.

Qiu-shu goes to visit Nino and discovers that the negative energy of the full moon will cause Nino to age rapidly. Qiu-shu predicts that Nino only has four months left. Nino studies a lot of books and manages to decipher the last entry of the Holy Book. It says that Nuwa returns to Earth riding on a blazing star. Xiaoling, Tianyou, Fenren and Nino will oppose Nuwa, thus the rebirth of Heaven and Earth on 2nd January 2001.

Red Tide buys a piano for Nuwa as she thinks that music from a piano can heal a wounded heart. She reveals to the Vampire Commander that she has several faces but none suits her character. Upon request by the Vampire Commander, Red Tide reveals a lady’s face that leaves a deep impression in her. This face actually belongs to Xiu.

Dingdang goes to see the Vampire Commander. The Vampire Commander promises Dingdang that he will try his best to stop the world from coming to an end if Dingdang dies before 2nd January 2001. In addition, he also pomises Dingdang that as long as she lives, he will not let the world come to an end.

Nuwa is roused from her slumber and awakes earlier than expected. She reveals to the Vampire Commander that she has a feeling she will die and she has never experienced this feeling before. She tells him that she has created the Earth but is disappointed that certain human qualities have ruined its image of a paradise, so she has come back to destroy the Earth. Nuwa begins to find that she understand the Vampire Commander less as he is filled with human emotions and is drifting further and further away from her. The Vampire Commander tells Nuwa that a woman has changed him. The woman lets him understand why he is existing in this world.

Nuwa wants to visit the people mentioned in the Holy Book. She uses Red Tide’s body and goes out with the Vampire Commander. She dresses like a human and visits Xiaoling first. Nuwa witnesses Xiaoling not accepting a deal of subduing a Water Spirit unless she is paid two hundred thousand dollars. Two hundred thousand dollars is unreasonable because the usual price is only thirty eight thousand dollars. Thus, Nuwa feels that she is mercenary. The customer storms off. After the Vampire Commander and Nuwa left Ling Ling Tang, the former explains to Nuwa that Xiaoling is actually using money to hide her feelings. He also feels that Nuwa and Xiaoling are alike.

Xiaoling confides in Danna that she does not feel like working because she does not want to out for fear of running into Tianyou and see him sucking human blood, so she purposely raised the price to an unreasonable amount.

Fenren decides to fulfill Zhenzhen’s last wish and goes to Fusheng’s school to teach. Fusheng goes to see Fenren after school but gets a scolding from him for being a freeloader as Fusheng is 9 years old every year and does not have to work. Fusheng takes advantage of Fenren and tells the students at the basketball court that Fenren is going to treat them to ice-cream. Fenren sees Tianyou as he leaves the school with the students and goes after him, ignoring the students. Fenren punches Tianyou and is about to beat him up again when Fusheng arrives to stop Fenren. Tianyou grabs the opportunity to run off. Nuwa and the Vampire Commander witness all this and Nuwa feels that Fenren is not as caring as the Vampire Commander has said.

The Vampire Commander brings Nuwa to see Tianyou, telling her that Tianyou is one of the most faithful man he has ever seen. But all Nuwa sees is Tianyou sitting in a car with Mimi lying on him. Nuwa thinks that Tianyou is being over-affectionate.

Mimi is furious to know that Tianyou is thinking of Xiaoling again.

Fusheng tells Fenren that the latter is actually hoping that Tianyou will kill him to release his suffering from being a vampire and that Zhenzhen will be miserable to be a vampire. He also persuades Fenren to stop threatening to beat people up as Zhenzhen will be terribly upset to know it. Fenren agrees to let Fusheng stay at his place.

Black Rain goes to see Nino at Forget It Bar. She wants to see whether Nino can defeat Nuwa. She tells Weilai that she hopes Nuwa will be dead. Unfortunately, Nuwa arrives at the bar with the Vampire Commander and hears all this. She injures Black Rain but is stopped by the Vampire Commander when she wants to kill her.

Nuwa tells the Vampire Commander to leave her alone. On her way, she meets a man who brings her to a disco. Unknowingly, Nino has been following Nuwa. Nino hopes to find out who is actually the one going to destroy the world. Upon seeing the people in the disco, Nuwa feels that she should really destroy the world. She is treated to spiked drinks. Soon, she feels weak. Nino enters the bar and sees that Nuwa is being taken away by some men. He is beaten up by the men for interfering. Fenren arrives and pushes all the people away using his power. He then gives Nino permission to fight back as he thinks that the Star of Evil should not be beaten up by other people. Nino fights with the people, putting them to a sleep. He rushes to ask Nuwa who exactly is going to destroy the world. Suddenly, the Water Spirit appears and it runs to the top of the roof. Fenren and Nino follow.

Xiaoling goes to the disco and meets Nuwa. Xiaoling punches her stomach so that Nuwa will vomit out the drink (including the pill in the drink). Xiaoling then goes to the top of the roof with the intention of subduing the Water Spirit. She sees Mimi trying to subdue the Water Spirit but to no avail. Shuangshuang, who has been hiding in Nino’s shirt all along, comes out and helps to destroy the Water Spirit by blowing fire onto it. The Water Spirit evaporates. Xiaoling puts paper charms on Nino’s, Fenren’s and Mimi’s foreheads to protect them from the Water Spirit. Mimi takes off the charm as she feels that she does not need any protection. Just then, the Water spirit reappears and approaches Mimi. Xiaoling quickly pastes another charm on Mimi’s forehead. The Water Spirit rushes into Xiaoling’s body instead as she does not have any paper charms to protect herself. Xiaoling is about to fall to the floor when Tianyou arrives and grabs her. He transfers the Water Spirit into his body by kissing her on the lips. He then goes off after assuring Xiaoling that he will be all right. Nuwa and Mimi witness all this. Nuwa changes her view of Xiaoling and Tianyou while Mimi becomes jealous of Xiaoling again.

On her way, Nuwa feels weak again. The Vampire Commander appears and carries her on his back upon seeing that Nuwa does not have the energy to walk. The Vampire Commander reveals to Nuwa that he is always by her side because he wishes to see her.

Dingdang discusses the end of the world with Weilai, Nino, Fenren, Fusheng, Xiaoling and Dami. Fenren, Nino and Xiaoling suddenly see the end of the world in their minds. Nino guesses that Tianyou should also be able to see this image too (and he is correct).

When they are alone, Xiaoling questions Dingdang whether she likes the Vampire Commander. Dingdang is shocked on hearing this and drops the glass that is in her hand. Xiaoling immediately knows the answer. Dingdang avoids Xiaoling’s question and drives her away.

Dingdang and Fenren drink together in Forget It Bar. Fenren thinks of Zhenzhen while Dingdang thinks of the Vampire Commmander. Dingdang decides to help Xiaoling in dealing with the Vampire Commander after talking to Fenren. She meets her to go shopping.

Nuwa feels unhappy to destroy the world but there are not enough reasons for her to stop her plan of destroying it. The Vampire Commander dissuades her from destroying the world. Nuwa decides to have a pact with him and suggests to him to use humans to play 3 rounds of a game. If he won 2 rounds, he will decide the world’s fate. If he lost, he will have to stop dissuading her. He can choose the players but they must not know the pact. The Vampire Commander agrees with the idea.

Qi Luo and Crow lie to the Vampire Commander that they are happy being vampires. Red Tide tells the Vampire Commander that they cannot be trusted since they say this. Red Tide arranges for the Vampire Commander to meet Tianyou as the Vampire Commander wants to have a chat with him.
