BASIC LINUX ADDONS
BASICLinux is the minimalistic distribution designed for very old computers. All main Unix commands together with X GUI fit in about 2.5 megabytes on disk and work on 4 megabytes RAM. As disk version reserved 20 megabytes, there is plenty room for small but powerful addons. I prepared several. Something I took from other distros, something compiled, something patched ...

SAMEL LINUX

SAMEL is name of my baby son, but also the name of my Linux floppy distribution (Small And Memory Economic Linux) intended for computers with 3 megabytes of RAM but without hard disk. It is derived from BASIC Linux, combined with asmutils. There are about 60 commands on the floppy and about 800 kilobytes free. The Floppy is bootable and readable from DOS, Windows and Linux.
