Steve will no longer appear in the film "Mission: Impossible II". There have been problems getting production off the ground and there is most likely a scheduling conflict for Steve now.
As well, Steve will not be appearing in the film "American Psycho".
I'm sorry to say that "Running With Scissors", which was to co-star Giovanni Ribisi, Tom Everett Scott, and Steve along with his wife Robyn Peterman, never did come into being. There are currently no future plans for the project.
On a brighter note, be sure to watch for Steve appearing in Entertainment Weekly's "It List" issue, on newstands June 18th!!
Some new information about the Warner Bros. film "Shiny New Enemies".....Steve will play a barber who starts his day intending to commit suicide and watches as things get worse. Salma Hayek has been signed to play a centerfold turned top-notch detective who is assigned to the heist of the Shiny New Enemies, a batch of precious ancient coin's that end up in the barber's possession. Jeff Goldblum and Orlando Jones also join the cast. Production will begin on June 7 in Vancouver, BC.
Steve will appear in the controversial film version of the classic novel, "American Psycho". The Warner Bros. film stars Christian Bale, Reese Witherspoon and Jared Leto, and is currently being filmed.
Steve has just signed on to the upcoming feature "Shiny New Enemies". Shooting is scheduled to begin in June. More information to follow.
Finally, a little news about the much anticipated "Freak Talks About Sex"!! The New Sky Productions film will make it's world premiere at the 25th Seattle International Film Festival, which runs from May 13 - June 6. For those of you in the area, schedule information will be announced on May 4 on the Festival website.
Heads up everyone!! "You've Got Mail" is out on video on Tuesday, May 4th!!
"Safe Men" is now available on video! Since the film had a limited release run in the theatres, this is a great opportunity for those of you who haven't yet seen it to catch Steve in a leading role. But, beware -- you may have to hunt a copy of this flick down at a local (or not-so-local) "rare video" store. Search hard -- it's worth the effort!
