Boring boring me.....

ME
Hello, my name is Michelle, I am 27 and I live in Utica N.Y. .I grew up in a small town near the Adirondack Mountains called Corinth. I graduated from Corinth High School in 1994 and went on to SUNY Morrisville and then finished at Utica School of Commerce. I currently work at Fleet Bank. I am very afraid of bugs and worms. I can't watch scary movies because then I am afraid of every shadow for about a week. I love chocolate, my favorite tv shows are ER and Trading Spaces. If I ever grow up I want to be a child psychiatrist or a lawyer that deals with children's issues or maybe an accountant or maybe my knight in shining armor will come and tell me what I want to be. The fact is, I really don't know what I want to be.

My Family
I have a huge family! To start with, I have a six year old son, Kenny , a four year old daughter, Sheila , a two year old son, Keagan and my daughter, Meghan was born on 9/2/03 , that I am very proud of. I also have a little sister, she is 24 but she will always be my little sister, her name is Danielle and she still lives in Corinth. My father, Mike, and my other sister, Cassie and my grandmother, Carolyn, live in Phoenix Az. My step-father, Charlie, who was always my "Dad" passed away in January 2000. I was always "Grandpa's baby" so I can't forget him, my grandfather, Louie, unfortunately also passed away since I origianlly made this site. My other grandfather, Bob, still lives in Corinth. I have about 900 aunts, uncles and cousins that also live in Corinth.

My Grandmother
My grandmother, although we had many many many disagreements, was a very special person to me. We didn't always see eye to eye, make that we rarely saw eye to eye, but I still appreciate everything that she ever did for me and I wish that I had the chanc eto tell her thank you for everything. My grandmother died on January 6, 1998 after a long, hard fight with ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease).

A little about ALS...
I don't know much about ALS, I guess nobody really knows much about it. No one knows what causes it, who is going to get it, there is no certain age when you can get it and there is no cure for it. The ALS Center at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, N.Y. helped my grandmother a great deal. The equipment needed to cope with the illness gets expensive for families. They helped out by loaning my grandmother wheelchairs, special mattress pads, special silverware, bowls and plates, a computer and various other items to make her life a little bit more enjoyable. So, if there is anyone out there dreaming of becoming a doctor or if you have a little bit of money that you are thinking about donating, St. Peter's hospital or any ALS center could really use your help.
Here is a page dedicated to ALS awareness. These people are doing great things, I really admire them.
PALS-A place for people with ALS, their families and friends to share their stories.

My Mother
My mother...not really sure what to say about her. No matter what I say it is going to be corny and just not sound right. My mother died when I was fourteen. She had me at a very young age, I spent many years as a single parent, so now I understand how hard life must have been for her. So I really admire her a lot, I never felt like I was any different from any other kid. I hope that I can give as much love to my kids as she gave to me and I hope that I can be as good of a mother as she was to me. I love her and miss her a lot.

Hobbies
Ok, this one is going to be short. I don't have a lot of free time so I don't have many hobbies. But when I do get some free time I like to read and write mostly. I also like to take long walks and long drives to nowhere. I love to shop and go for a long bike ride, especially when I am angry at someone. But most of time you will find me in front of the computer trying to figure some really simple thing out.
