Not all babies come  easily, but they are all loved and cherished....Congratulations, Carole and Matt!  You're journey was long and hard, but it will soon culminate in soft and cuddly.
The McGath clan's shower for Carole and Matt's long awaited baby.
The presents ranged from diaper genies, to baby bath robes and adorable outfits. The greatest gift, however, was the family gathering, some relatives getting to meet the wonder Mom-to-Be and sharing in the joy of impending motherhood.
Ok, judging from all the faces perhaps a caterer would have been in order. :-)
I swear, my son will never have to endure those nasty things called Gerbers.
Bette, think a little louder so I can read your answer, I mean telepathetically get your answer. :-)  Oh what the heck, just tell me, is it squash or carrots?
:-) At least the cake was good!
You mean, they  still burb, spit-up, dirty diapers and cry for long periods of time?  I thought genetics had evolved a bit in the last 11 years. I was hoping for one that was already house broken. :-)
Chel, Carole and Laura the latest generation of McGaths to hang
out at the food court, proving some traditions never end.
Alternate caption:  Ok, who gets Mom's engagement ring?  her dinner ring?  Her aunt's rings?   I say we draw straws to decide.
* side note: Debbie of course has already willed all her jewerly, old and new to her favorite sister-in-law, Judy McGath
