| Work in progress: Colored Pencil Blue Heron |
| I start by tracing the heron on the paper with a HB pencil, I give it as many details as I can before starting to apply any color. I always start with the eyes and head of my suject. Then, once I can see its face and eye expression, it makes me feel like I can somehow "connect" with it (they say the eyes are the windows of the soul). This gives me direction for the kind of personality I will give to the work |
