I really enjoy working with colored pencils.
It is a  "dry  medium"  which makes it extremely precise and its translucidity makes it very easy to blend. It can be used on paper, vellum, wood and  plastic film.

I use Professional Quality Soft Thick Lead Pencils by PRISMACOLOR for  their creamy smooth texture, extra  thick leads and permanent pigments that  give the brilliant, moisture-proof results. I also like POLYCHROMOS from  the German brand FABER-CASTELL which as  set standards in the art world for more than 2 centuries.

I also enjoy working with acrylics.It is such a durable and versatile  medium  which makes it very exciting to create with. Can be used on canvas,wood even paper or just about anything really... It is possible to make it look thick and shiny like "oil paint",or translucide and delicate  like "watercolors".

The best part, it is water base and so easy to clean up and unlike oils does not have that strong smell.
I use Heavy Body Acrylic by  Golden Artist Colors .
