Sayeret Yael
The IDF's elite demolition unit. Sayeret Yael works with other SF units in operations that require expert demolition skills such as car bombing, booby-traps etc. Sayeret Yael also participates in hostage rescue missions as an "assistance" unit, providing expertise regarding the dynamic/hot entry (blowing up doors, windows etc.) aspects of the assault. Combat Engineering Corps
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) combat engineering corps has two Special Forces (SF) units - Sayeret Yael and YACHSAP. This units are joined together under the Special Operations Engineering Units Command” (YAHALOM).
