I believe that being a democratic socialist can relate to the teaching of faith class in many ways.
First of all I believe that wanting to bring about a social and economic change in our nation through democratic socialism is a strong show of faith in a form of leadership. I agree with the Democratic Socialists in their beliefs that much of our government needs to be reformed economically and socially so that the ordinary person will be able to participate not just the upper class citizens.

If I were able to vote in the up comming election, I would vote for Senator Kerry because I have faith that he would be able to work with the common people to bring about changes that will bring the government and middlecalss common people of the USA closer together.I believe that Senator Kerry would be able to work fore for the common people of America.

As a democratic socialist some of my most strong beliefs are anti-racism and anti-sexism, I strongly believe that the government and nation as a whole should be under the control and influence of the middle class population of the nation.I don't think that our nation is like that presently, and I wish for it to change through in the ways described by Democratic Socialism.

A major thing I believe is that all decisiosn can affect me and also others... I think that in our nation today many of the decisions made by our government are geared towards one class of citizens, mainly the upper classes, I think that our government needs to take more consideration into the lives of the middle class citizens of America.

Throughout history socialist states and nations have risen and been put down or fallen.. Yet pepole still believe in some of the key ideas and aspects of their ideologies, I think that is an important show of faith for the Democratic Socialists. The Democratic Socialists and Young Democratic Socialists alike have faith in a strong vision of social justice throughout the world regardless of how society views social justice in everyday life. The DS believe in a Third Way , between capitalist societies such as the United States and Communism. Belief in the third way even though it goes against the norms of our nation's society shows the faith of the democratic socialists in making a better nation for everyone
