12th February 1965. Newlyweds Richard and Maureen Starkey honeymooning in Hove, East Sussex at the home of a business aquaintance. The location was chosen due to short notice and the secrecy required. Due to the excessive amount of fans and press hanging around outside their honeymoon retreat on their first morning as a married couple, they were forced to hold a press conference and photo shoot about their marriage in the garden in the hope this would persuade everyone to leave them alone.
