Maureen visited her boyfriend Richard down in London while he was filming A Hard Days Night. She is shown sitting with him imbetween takes, and also watching filming with The Beatles' photographer friend Astrid and actress Pattie Boyd who was appearing in the film and later married George Harrison.

During a day off from filming, Maureen and Richard went back to Liverpool with Astrid who photographed Maureen in The Cavern Club:
