Designed in a multidisciplinary team, for ecological researchers working in Canada's parks. These shelters can be flexibly configured, put up and taken down quickly, packed to a small size, and are made largely from readily available materials. They are superior in comfort and range of use than canvas tents and less damaging to delicate terrain than more solid structures, but remind the user that they cannot stay permanently in the park.
